THE CHANCELLOR’S REPORT

From the Office of the Lord Palatine of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska

10th of Owyn’s Light, 1712

The Lord-Palatine starts this Chancellor’s Report with a joyous announcement. The Most Holy Cross that was stolen from the Basilica in Reza has been recovered in an expedition consisting by the Lord-Palatine himself, his grace the Archbishop Zachery, Lady Maria Preussens, Ser Siegmund Corbish, Bottle, Mister Thomas Raleigh and Axel Kortrevich.

 

The Office of the Chancellery will however not rest until any and all perpetrators are arrested and facing justice according to Imperial and Haensetic law. Thus the office of the Chancellery would urge the halfling by the name of “Pot” to turn himself in to royal officials for questioning and names him a person of interest in the ongoing investigation.

 

After the Adrian crisis and the establishment of the Principality of Vîlachia by his Imperial Majesty the office of the Chancellery postponed the new map of the Kingdom and the announcement of the Royal Cartographer until final borders between the kingdoms of the Empire had been sorted. With the official borders now finalized the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska will proudly unveil its official map within the upcoming Saint’s Week and with it the announcement of the Royal Cartographer. Along with this the noble registry was also postponed and to speed the process forth the Lord-Palatine urges all Noble Lords to send their Coat of Arms to his lordship and the office of the Chancellery.

 

The Office of the Chancellery would after the missive “The Dragon and The Forest” and the Desolation Pact ask all men and women of our glorious Kingdom to assist its Royal Army with its needs and work to ensure that the Lord Marshal and his commanders are given a steady supply of the goods they are in demand of. To ensure that the good men and women has an easy way to provide needed supplies for the army they have established a donation chest by the entrance to Saint Henrik’s Guardhouse where all are urged to provide much needed supplies to our soldiers such as that of iron, flint, feathers, black wool, string and saddles.

 

War and desolation loom on the horizon but by following the will of God and the guidance given by our great King Marius we, The Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska shall prevail in the coming war and prosper as we have in the past years. The Lord-Palatine pray that our good men shall be granted safe passage through the battles ahead and those that would fall be given a warm embrace by God and his Saints as they enter into the Seven Skies. The Office of the Chancellery urges all good men of Haense forth and salutes them as they march towards battle under the banners of Haense. Ave Imperium!

Ser Dominic frowns, wondering what this insane halfwoman was talking to herself about! After all, they were merely preparing for the possibility of armed conflict. A sensible affair!

A man wonders why the halfling even cares about big men politics in the first place but then laments that living in the same area forever without any wars ever happening must be prompting the halflings to act more curiously.
