[Bug] Chat issue

MC Names of all involved: sergisala

Description: my quotes aren’t detected unless I also write the first quotation mark at the beginning of my sentence.

Date of occurance: 31st of May, 2019 (1pm EST)

In game specifications: I was with my main persona “Alexander II Merentel” and I must say that this error occurs when you have “always” or “quotations” as your Emote Style (Chat Setting). By the way, in “explicit” my quotes aren’t also detected, even If write the first quotation mark (which If I write it in “always” and “explicit” it works fine).

Steps to Reproduce: Just don’t write the first quotation mark when you start your sentence in “always” or “quotations” (Chat Setting) as a dialogue and then continue as an emote after the supposed second quote.

Basically, I type this: https://prntscr.com/nw0qtw

Actual Behavior: and this is the result https://prntscr.com/nw0sbb

Additional Information: I have a spanish/european keyboard, but I’ve never had any problems with that, my quotes have always been correctly detected in the server since I joined it 4 years ago.

I must also say that this error only occurs when I start my sentence with a dialogue and then include an emote part after it. If I start my sentence as an emote (with ‘*’ or ‘**’) the first quotation mark is automatically added as It’s always been.

Yes. I hate chat for this very reason, I am used to always emoting this way.
