   The Athenaeum is the library of The Llyrian Concord, located within the scholar city of Omeryn.  It is the main facility for the Echelon of Curation.  The library’s primary purpose and most valued objective is to further strengthen the intellectual aptitude of the citizens of the Llyria, as well as the rest of the inhabitants of Arcas through: the archiving of literary works; documentation of historical events, cultures, etcetera; trading and establishing good connections with the other libraries of Arcas, in order to further spread knowledge throughout the land; and lastly, to study and question the unknown.

To possess a curious and open mind is a near sacred trait for an individual to have.

 

Athenaeum Staff

These staff members represent The Athenaeum and hold up its ideals.

 

Lady Curator:

Manages the library, undergallery, and knowledge in all forms within Llyria.

 

Head Librarian:

Oversees matters regarding The Athenaeum, manages book donations and scholar responsibilities; also a seeker of knowledge.

 

Athenaeum Scholar: 

Estrid Mildrathil [[DeusVidet]]

Seeker of knowledge; urged to study various topics and document whatever may be learned or discovered.

 

Joining The Athenaeum

More scholars shall be taken on as The Athenaeum’s collection grows.

The Athenaeum is currently not accepting applications.

 

In order to be considered for a position within the library, the applicant must first offer a piece of literature of their own making and include the work’s title within their application.  The applicant is also expected to provide a copy of their written piece for examination before their interview.  If one were to send in their application, fill out the format below and send a letter to the Head Librarian.  [[Send them through Forum PMs]].

 

Applications sent in while The Athenaeum isn’t looking for more scholars shall be discarded.
