The Echelon of Curation

The Echelon of Curation, guided by the Lord/Lady Curator, is the primary Echelon for scholarly work and the pursuit of knowledge within the Llyrian Concord.  Its main focus is to acquire and procure more tomes, establish connections to the other libraries of the land, and to ensure knowledge is spread throughout the Concord for all to access.  

 

• The Athenaeum: The Athenaeum is the library of The Llyrian Concord, located within the scholar city of Omeryn.  It is the main facility for the Echelon of Curation.  The library’s primary purpose and most valued objective is to further strengthen the intellectual aptitude of the citizens of the Llyria, as well as the rest of the inhabitants of Arcas through: the archiving of literary works; documentation of historical events, cultures, etcetera; trading and establishing good connections with the other libraries of Arcas, in order to further spread knowledge throughout the land; and lastly, to study and question the unknown.
