The Imperial Restoration Act

Issued and confirmed by the Consilium Pacis on 9^th of Sigismund’s End, 1724.

Since its inception, the Pax Orenia has demonstrated itself to be a robust and effective document through which the constituents of mankind may maintain the peace, and cooperate to achieve their mutual goals. Although the Pax prevails, recent instability within the human realm has revealed that in order to retain the peace and union of man, the constituents require singular and decisive leadership. Therefore the Participating Signatories of the Pax Orenia have met, on this day, the 9th of Sigismund’s End, and agreed to implement the following three amendments to the Pax Orenia.

ARTICLE XXVIII - The participating signatories recognize the legal dissolution of the Principality and Republic of Ves, and accept the Serene Duchy of Cathalon as its successor state, according to the thirteenth and fifteenth article of the Pax Orenia. The Republic or Principality of Ves shall no longer be considered a participating signatory, and upon attaining the signature of the Duke of Cathalon the Pax shall recognize him as the third participating signatory. In all cases prior to this article, wherein the Republic or Principality of Ves is referenced under the Pax Orenia, the Serene Duchy of Cathalon shall be considered in its place.

 

ARTICLE XXIX - The signatories recognize the Holy Orenian Emperor as the Imperator in perpetuity, and recognize that the title of Imperator shall be passed to the legal heir of House Cascadia. The Imperator shall be afforded, in times of peace and war, the rights and authorities provided in the eighth article of the Pax Orenia, ascending the Pax Orenia into full military alliance.

 

ARTICLE XXX - The participating signatories hereby commit to establish the Consilium Pacis, the Peace Council, which shall consist of the eight leading authorities of mankind. The Kingdom of Curonia and the Duchy of Cathalon shall be afforded two positions on the council, one for their sovereign and one to be held by an advisor of their choice. The Holy Orenian Empire shall be granted three seats on the council, and the final member shall be the High Pontiff of the Canonist Faith. The Council shall be established to ensure discourse and communication between the signatories in times of both war and peace, so that they may establish a united and strong diplomatic authority to represent mankind. The council may be convened at the leisure and demand of any of the participating signatories. While holding no explicit authority, the council shall retain advisory authority to the imperator.
