Let me tell you a story...More a prayer to anyone who will listen to our call.  About women that stood tall and braved a smile. For they were bred into a family that called them Strong. But as much burden they bared, they were anything but.

 A woman is supposed to be treated like a flower. Blooming only for the love that they cherish of a family.

 But how are these women treated?

What brings them to destruction, Sorrow, and madness?

Why have these women especially fallen from the grace of GOD?

Have they done something wrong in his eyes?

Have they forsaken something greater and more ancient then they could comprehend?

For these women, fall on their knees in the darkness and cry their sorrows away. Bad luck has befallen these women.  For death wields a big scythe, he sows the souls he sees.

Every mother, wife and daughter of the Kortrevich family has befallen a fate that has not been kind. It has given no justice to any of them.

From a family of men whose mothers had died…

To a mother whose fate laid in the hands of her son.

 From a wife who loved with all her heart, only to be torn and ripped away from her family by war.

 To a mother that died after giving birth to a few children never to be able to be married.

  To a woman who loved her children more than her life dying at childbirth.

From a daughter trying her hardest to keep her life together despite her father’s remarriage.

A daughter loss of everyone she holds dear.

 A wife who is trying to raise two boys on her own.

A wife whose holding on by mere strings, madness creeping into her vision. 

A daughter believing she will never be enough for the one she loves, carrying her lovers’ burdens.

Wives who can’t seem to stray from the bottle as matter how hard they try. From a sister bound by hate to murder her own family to be with a man.

 

Though not all women of the family befall the curse, it is a one and a hundred chance they get to live a happy life without the burdens the rest bare.

So we pray to our GOD if we have done something to upset you in the grand scheme of things. We are rightfully sorry and hope you can forgive your children for our misdeeds and sins. For your grace is ever-present and we bow our heads to you.
