IMPERIAL CENSUS AND SURVEY ACT

Issued by the Office of the Imperial Auditor and Confirmed by His Imperial Majesty,

 TO OUR BELOVED SUBJECTS,

 

By statute of the Holy Orenian Empire, the following decrees are to be put into immediate effect within the Imperial demesne…

• Be it enacted that the Office of the Imperial Auditor shall be established in the Imperial Government and charged with the following provisions: 

  • Institute protocols for the administration of a census

  • Survey the areas, population, holdings, and land developments under the jurisdiction of Imperial law 

  • Subpoena previous census records, steward logs, finance, and tenure documents

  • Give regular reports to the Archchancellor and advise the Privy Council

• The establishment of an official census shall be imposed to survey the denizens and holdings within the Holy Orenian Empire. The census shall determine the components of the vassalage in relation to allocation, representation, population, security, and quality of life within the Imperial domain.

 

Moreover, by order of the Imperial Auditor, the following shall be instituted for the protocols of the census:

• The census shall be conducted every 6 years to maintain consistent surveillance and inquiry of the Empire’s domain. 

• ALL denizens within the Imperial dominion who have attained the age of 16 years and older are mandated to register and complete the census when conducted.

• Appropriate litigation and the imposition of fines pursuant to the laws of the realm shall be undertaken by the Office of the Lord Justiciar if untruthful answers and or infractions of imposture are found and verified.

 

The following vassals shall be subject to the survey to facilitate the accounting of their respective Kingdoms and Duchies:

• • The Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska

  • The Kingdom of Kaedrin

  • The Kingdom of Curon

  • The Caliphate of Kadarsi

  • The Archduchy of Suffonia

  • The Duchy of Cresonia

  • The Duchy of Westmarch

  • All other Vassal Territories and States under the jurisdiction of the Empire

 

These protocols shall remain in effect until altered by the Imperial Auditor of the Holy Orenian Empire, or else changed by later legislation.
