A myrzym trumpeteers around Urguan, various Raguk workers cease their labour; wipe their brows and stand at attention. Atop a mighty rock stood Garrdum’Raguk; his myrzym venturing offwards. He spread his arms; roaring to get the attention of his boys. 

 

“For near a century, we Raguks have been out of favour with the Gods! Our home; nonexistant. Our spirituality, tarnished. Our peoples grow hungry. Our strength is dissipating! The Khlaars are nowhere to be found, and Leyd grows frustrated. Is this the way to live? Is this the way to thrive?

 

I say no! This is why, I, Garrdum ******* Raguk, have organized three years for the pantheon! Tell me, orks, do you wish to be powerful? If so, answer the call. Tell me, orks, do you wish to be spiritual? If so, answer the call. Tell me, orks of clan Raguk? Do you wish to be a Khlaar? Do you wish to answer the call?!”

The open-ended question was swiftly answered with a flourish of cries, a symphony of roars and chants from the adolescent spluttertongue.

“Bruddas:

The Rank of Khlaar-Leyd is up for grabs! As it is Leyd this year who will receive the praise, for he is the best oiled of the pantheon, you must venture out in the world and slay many an elf sanoist, slay many a strong man, slay many an honourable man. The more gits you slay, the more likely you’ll be chosen to serve Leyd eternally, simple as that. If you die, walk it off.

Evening, gamers. The Pantheonic Championship has officially begun! Here’s how it works.

 

For the next three weeks(IRP years), the Raguks will be hosting events based around their three patron spirits. Leyd (Physical strength), Gentharuz (Smithing) and Gazigash (Blood and bone). The Raguk players will have the chance to become the mortal embodiments of these spirits, giving their lives as the seers of these spirits, the Old yellers. You can read more about them here (Keep in mind the part where it says the Old yellers sacrifice their eyes, ears and tongue is not obligatory):

This week’s is Leyd. Since Leyd is all about physical strength, you will be encouraged to move out into the world with a grouping of Raguks and just beat the living hell out of anyone you challenge; bringing honor to Leyd.

You will then post the proof of your expeditions in the Raguk discord; and at the end of the week the player with the most wins and best RP will be awarded the rank of Khlaar-Leyd.

Now why would anyone want to be Khlaar-Leyd? The Old yellers hold a massive amount of respect and power in the clan as spiritual advisors, with the opportunity to dish out interesting RP,  and also have a bloodsteel set of armor and bloodsteel weaponry of YOUR choosing! Good luck, and have fun!
