/ws chat isn't working

I’ve recently submitted my application to play on this server, but while I’m on it now as a wandering spirit it will not allow me to chat in /ws and every time I type in the command it says “command not recognized. Is their anything else I need to do besides type that or is it a bug. I just need some help, thank you!
