The sun rose over the forests of Arcas once more, its rays bending over and across the trees. A few peasant children garbed in nothing but overalls chased each other deep into the forests by their home. They sprinted through the swamp, entering the forest and picking up a few sticks, hitting them against the nearby trees and vegetation in a wild spur of childlike wonder.

The children jumped over a small path, dodging rocks and roots protruding from the ground.
????.. ?? ????..? ? ?????? ??????!
The children stop, slamming their sticks together as they get into a fight.
???'? ??? ?????????? ???, ???? ????! ℑ'? ????? ?????? ????? ?????!
The children drop the sticks and run the other way, away from the path that would lead into a small clearing where a mossy large stone sat, surrounded by red torches.
??, ???? ???! ???? ???? ??? ?? ?? ??? ???? ??????????!
The sun circled overhead, its rays bleeding over the clearing and reflecting off a long blade. A bird perched atop the small hilt of the blade, overgrown with vines.

The bird pecked at the vines surrounding the sword below it, searching for anything to feed upon.
??? ??? ?? ??, ????? ???? ???????!
The bird remained still, its head quietly twisting to the side as it adjusted itself on the cross guard it rested on. That thing would sigh if it could.

The bird suddenly looks up, something else catching its eye before it began to fly off.

Rumors have been spread around the land of Arcas that there is some sort of “blade” out there in the wild, just waiting for a brave soul to pull it out. Will you be able to find it, and manage to pull it?

The stone where a gleaming sword once stood is nothing more than a forgotten pedestal stained with blood. The sword has been claimed, and a new chapter unfolds as a dark figure stood by the area with his hands folded behind his back as three figures left the corpse of a bloody wolf. 

“I suppose it’s time to get to work then, now that I am free from that accursed stone.”

The figure spun on his heel, heading off in the opposite direction.
