Ever since I was young, I have understood the earnestness in which we must recount our history. It is through days of yore that we learn to develop our destined path to greatness through a unified pursuit of Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya in accordance with Silver Elves across the entirety of the realm. We are taught that amongst us are the noblest, that our altitudinous heights were carved by the Golden Pools in order to illustrate the risk we were willing to take above our kin, and therefore the cachet in which we reside.

 

As the centuries maturate and lead us away from that time, you and I have all faced enormous challenges in faith and prosperity. Exist none amongst you who have glimpsed Larihei in her time, and it is with this fact of time that our eyes begin to drift away from the destiny she spoke of - a fate away from the squalid teachings of the bootless and soiled. In light of this, I address you bluntly. I am disappointed. I feel smeared with your desecrated doubts and refusal to acknowledge any will to resist attacks on our purified halls. 

 

Do you, a citizen who was given the unique privilege to be born as an elf of Silver, dare not fight? What exists to impede your ability to pick up a shield and go to battle? There are those of you who have the complete capability to do so, but instead, choose to rot away in your homes until the valiant march to war. Your Blessed Diarchy and Silver Council do not decide to call our banners lightly; we understand the depth in which we must decide between fighting and neutrality. It is not in our interest to risk Silver blood spilling in the dirt of valah lands, in human conflicts. Alas, the wars we have been engaging in as of late are direct results of infringement on our Sovereignty and predetermined destiny of greatness. The Imperials dared purloin their fingers in Elven affairs; while aid is certainly appreciated, taking advantage of the avenue by which we allow their help, in order to deceive us, will never be warranted. 

 

Do not forget our history. Remember it, and fight to bring about what our ancestors fought for, for our epitome has yet to come. Those that fight are faithful to the cause, and those that are capable but choose not to are nothing less than traitors. Your Sillumiran, in whom you owe great thanks to, are the bodyguards of the realm. It is their blades and shields that the Motherland sits behind, to ensure all is not lost. If you truly want to bring about our destiny, to see our sovereignty cultivated and protected, join them in their fight. Whether it be as a citizen or guard, it is your duty. 

 

If you will not fight as citizens, then do so as Sillumiran.
