Prior to continuing, New Reza Times hopes everyone’s Tuvmas was full of joy and fulfillment, and informs its readers that the New Reza Chronicles will now resume its regular schedule. 

Additionally, New Reza Times is looking for artists who can sketch scenes of events that could potentially become part of an Edition later on. ((50 minas for every screenshot, preferably done in shaders and in the midst of an event.))

THE ROYAL HEIR IS BORN! 

The Royal Address, Ekaterinburg Palace, New Reza. 1749 - 302

His Majesty, the King presents his newborn son, Otto Sigismund to the People of Haense

---

The people rejoice as the King of Haense announces to his court the birth of a son. Named primarily after the Ottonian Kings of the early 1600s, Otto also takes up the name of the Exalted Prophet, Sigismund, as his baptismal name.

 

With the birth of a son, this event also marks the securing of the royal lineage, as the realm strays further away from the possibility of a succession crisis.

 

Additionally, with the firstborn of the Royal Couple being male, it also asserts the fertility of the Queen-Consort, with the ordeal also having been reported as fair and relatively calm with no issues. We can expect many more royal children to bless our Kingdom.

CITY ELECTIONS CONCLUDED

With the Elections in New Reza coming to a close, we at the New Reza Times congratulate all candidates for their persistent effort to do Haense good. Special compliments to Siegmund Corbish, Siegmund Wick and our own, Mikael Kovachev. 

 

The polls first opened to the Aldermen Elections, of which another close fight was carried out between the top three candidates. Most notably, all three candidates, Osvald Barclay, Mikael Kovachev, and Siegmund Corbish, ran similar campaigns to one another - both heavily advocating for the advancement of military affairs. However, Osvald was bumped out of the race, most likely due to being the newest addition to the trio, with Siegmund Corbish having been a respectable Senator for Haense in the Imperial Senate, and Mikael Kovachev being the Champion of Haense.

 

With the Aldermen Elections concluded, The polling stations opened its ballots for the Maer Election, where it was reported to have also been a close fight for the majority of the time when the stations were open. Ser Capulei was recorded to have had at the lead at first, his influence within the Brotherhood of Saint Karl earning him the initial votes, but as the day continued, Mister Wick slowly overtook his opposition, as more non-military civilians made their way to vote.  

 

Otho Bunce had little impact on the race, and it is widely rumoured that his candidacy was a ploy to divide votes. No investigations by the Office of the Lord Palatine and Lord Herzen have been announced however, and we must assume that the results are final.

 

The New Reza Time will pay close attention to Maer Wick’s tenure in office - time will tell if he was the correct choice for Haense during these trying times.

 

 

Finally, the Duma is scheduled to resume in the coming years, as the Tuvmas Celebrations come to a close. A reminder for all aspiring politicians, the Duma is an assembly of Nobles and elected officials, which are open to the public for spectating.

CAPITAL CLINIC SEES RENOVATIONS

In other news regarding Reza, a scion of the House of Kovachev, by the name of Chesna, was granted the deed to the Clinic in Sigismund Square. The Clinic saw a quick renovation, bringing it up to modern standards, while also employing a professional staff of physicians. 

 

Additionally, in response to these actions, the Crown has seen it fit to bestow upon the Lady of Kovachev, the title of Surgeon General, granting her a range of privileges regarding the Medical Affairs of the Kingdom.

HOUSE BARUCH ELEVATED TO DUCAL STATUS

The Royal Court of Ekaterinburg graciously donated a copy of His Grace, Sigmar Baruch’s status elevation letter, which we proudly present above.

Great rewards come if you loyally serve the King with the utmost diligence - now evidently portrayed by His Majesty bestowing the Duchy of Valwyck, a historical title of the Haeseni People, upon the now Duke, Sigmar Baruch.

 

The decision was unanimously accepted by the Royal Court, as not only the King saw that the Baruchs had need of a reward for their services to the Crown. 

 

We, at New Reza Times, hope that this titular elevation will allow the Baruchs to serve our Kingdom in an even greater capacity, and wish to see further from them as they grow into an influential family.

RACIAL TENSIONS EXPLODE INTO NUMEROUS RIOTS IN THE IMPERIAL CAPITAL!

Disturbing news from the Imperial Capital. The City has seen a rise of tensions between the Haeseni minority and the Crownland native population. Gangs of Capital ruffians are reported assaulting Haense folk in the streets before being driven away by the diligent responses of the Helena’s Guards.

 

With such a sudden spike of racial tensions with no clear cause to it, it is believed that these issues are being propagated by an elusive force, with an agenda to belittle the Haeseni People, or any other groups not of their own. 

 

Whatever the cause, it seemingly appears that the Imperial Government does not condone of these behaviours, with the Emperor and some of his leading officials being reported seen within the chaos of the riots, quelling them in favour of the Haeseni People.

 

There are hopes that the tensions settle down, as it was sighted that key rabble rousers were detained and arrested by Imperial State Troopers. May God bestow upon these fools clarity of the mind as they contemplate the severity of their actions while locked away behind bars.
