IMPERIAL VASSAL TAXATION ACT, 1750

An act to levy taxation onto all direct Imperial provincial vassals in accordance to the Imperial budget and for the purpose of appropriating provisions for the Holy Orenian Empire.

 

INTRODUCTION

This bill shall organize the deliberate taxation of his Imperial Majesty’s loyal vassals per Saint’s Week.

 

SECTION I:

On enumerating the several vassals of the Empire 

 

  1.  ROYAL VASSALS OF THE EMPIRE

 

Those vassals enumerated and enfeoffed as Kingdoms of the Holy Orenian Empire shall be levied taxation as listed below:

 

  • Dual Crown of Haenseti-Ruska : 1,100 ₤ | 
  • Commonwealth of Kaedrin: 1,100 ₤ | 
  • Province of Curon : 1,100 ₤ | 

 

  1.  DUCAL VASSALS OF THE EMPIRE 

 

Those vassals enumerated and enfeoffed as Duchies of the Holy Orenian Empire shall be levied taxation as listed below: 

 

  • Duchy of Adria: 900₤ | 

 

  1.  CROWNLAND VASSALS OF THE EMPIRE

 

Those vassals enumerated and enfeoffed within the Crownland region of the Holy Orenian Empire. 

 

  • County of Harlingen: 400₤ |
  • Barony of Selm: 250₤ |

 

SECTION II:

On the amendment and modification of taxation

 

  1.  The taxation of vassals shall remain as stipulated by this act unless superseded by an Act of the Imperial Diet or by prerogative of the Crown of the Holy Orenian Empire that mandates any changes or abolition thereof. 
  2. Any recommendations to the taxation of vassals by the Department of the Treasury must be stated in writing with the proposed changes and the audits thereof. This petition must then be formally presented to the Chairman of the Imperial Senate Committee on the Treasury. The Chairman shall then make known changes made by the Department of Treasury for further legislative consideration.
