  1. 1. should the Forest Dwarfs be allowed to live in an Elven-made district

  2. 2. if yes, could a railway be added between our two nations?

    • yes,it would increase trade, and improve internation relations
    • no,it would be too costly to build even if both nations funded it.
    • unsure/undecided/conflicted
    • i picked no,not yes
  3. 3. if no,why not?

    • we Dwarves should Remain among Dwarves!
    • i really cant stand elves, and wish not to inter-mingle with them
    • i am concerned with the legality issues of Dwarven citizens residing in Elven lands
    • other reason (post it below)
    • i picked yes,not no

((I have something to add:

I agree that Forest Dwarves shouldn't have their own subrace. If they want to live outside of dwarf society, then they can be exiles or outcasts and have it make sense in RP.

If we're discussing where they live, I think they should at least have houses underground, even if they want to live in a forest. That way they can have some semblance of dwarvism.))

((Personally, I always imagined them living in underground burrows.))

((I'm currently designing a "tree burrow" type hybrid home such that it will not look too out of place in either nations. Then each city could have a district of these homes.))

you shouldnt add the rails,if the elfs and dwarfs would ever wage war,the rail system would be a complets way to enter the main city without the city gates stopping em,if it was secured then yes.

Agreed

You know, I like Peytrs design. Maybe have a few of those outside the gates?

we should add the railway in my opinion, just with checkpoints.

so when = is a rail,

X is empty space

and [+] is a security checkpoint,

i propose this design:

[+]=======XXXXXXX======[+]

XXXXXXX[+]=======[+]XXXXXXX

1 2 3

sections 1:dwarf rule

sections 2:neutral rule

sections 3:elven rule

this way you pass through two checkpoints from each faction (and maybe they could set up a customs where you can only bring certain items for RP.like no bringing saplings to the dwarven nation,no Sh*tload of cobblestone to the elven nation lol) each nation could assign people to the stations,or trust people to RP it

EDIT:fixed the schematic

That's a good idea. Maybe the Forrest dwarves could act as a hidden first line of defense and/or scouts?

i rather like this idea, though the forest dwarves may not complety appriciate being used as a meat sheild at the edge of your kingdom lol (first line of defense = meat sheild) but if they agree to it,i like it. its quite sneaky, and makes the tree dwarves less uesless eh? (dont worry forest dwarves i dont think your useless)

Why would anyone suspect the Forest Dwarves? They could have the element of surprise.

i suppose, but i dont think the tree dwarves have volunteered for this militarization.let them have a choice.

((okay first off we are not even allowed to have railways. We are not advanced enough, the last one was removed. I'm not building tree homes for dwarfs. Forest dwarfs should have two options. Live with the elfs, or adapt, and live in Kal'Urguan with the rest of the dwarfs. If they elfs build a district for Forrest dwarfs my in character would not like, or support that.))

((I know that some will be disappointed by your answer, willie, but if you look at it, this could lead to a fun war and resource shortages for both sides.))

((In all honesty I like the idea. But in character I do not. I do not want dwarfs living with elfs. I do not want the elfs to make minas for housing dwarfs. In character we do not even have a treaty with the elfs so how does a shared district make sense. Do remember we are not supposed to make railways, well at least I heard that. And in character being a greedy aragant dwarf I would rather have elven like homes in Kal'Urgun.))

((Willie, I'm afraid I don't understand your objection to having the forrest dwarves on the outskirts of Kal'Urguan, in their trees. They would still be a part of Kal'Urguan, provide a service to other dwarves, and get to be Forrest dwarves instead of being forced to choose between being short fat elves or cave dwarves. Could you clarify why this is not a good solution for both parties?))
