Public Letter to the High Preceptor

Dearest High Preceptor Norli,

Today I have received news from you. You cannot understand the sadness I have felt when I read your words. I love the Brathmordakin, my father, and Urguan. You insult my love for our religion, my love for Urguan, and my father which I love.

On the claim that we know the will of the Brathmordakin
Seers never claim to know the will of the Brathmordakin. They annalyse the world to decipher possible meanings. No seer claims to Know the will of the Brathmordakin as only the Brathmordakin themselves know such things. These claims are baseless.

On the claim that the Seer Council wants to overtake the clergy
The seer council does not care about the politics that come with clergies and other orders that are based around unecesary hierarchies. That is why we never claimed to be a clergy. Seers only focus on the world around them out of devotion. The stories the Seer Council annalyse are those of other Seers.

Claim of being aggressive to the clergy
I have never acted in a hostile manner against the clergy, I have always been cordial to their representatives. Norli you know that my family has been part of the faith for generations and hatred towards it would be hatred towards my ancestors.

On the Acts of my father
You mention my father in your letter. I do not care who you think you are my dearest Norli. My father led the clergy for many years. I am saddened how easily you can toss your predecessors under the chariot.

On the “Rank” of High Seer
This rank is just the rank of advisor to the High Chief.

Response of the Council of Seers
None, we do not threaten fellow dwarves.

I would gladly talk to you on official matter,
However after reading your message I can see that your visits to Hefrumm might not have been out of kindness, for this reason I would ask you not to talk to me (unless its official business) or my family.

- Chief Karl Blackroot
