Norlandic Mining Company

The Norlandic mining company is a semi-privately owned organization within the city of Morsgrad. The purpose of the company is to employ independent contractors to mine the ores owned by the Norlandic state in exchange for payment. The miners employed by the company will have exclusive access to the rich mines of Norland and a steep discount when purchasing ores from any state sanctioned mineral market.

As decreed by the King of Norland, Halvar Edvardsson, All products within the mine of Morsgrad are property of the state, however, the responsibility to excavate the minerals has been granted to the Norlandic mining company in exchange for monetary gain.

Citizens may seek employment within the company freely, non-citizens may seek employment after a small donation to the company, and any may seek temporary access to the mine for a small fee. Employees, citizens or otherwise, must actively meet a quota every year to remain employed within the company.

The weekly quota is subject to change depending upon the types of ores presently available and the size of open veins. The most common desired ores are iron and gold, as such, it is expected that two hundred weights of iron or the raw ore equivalent and one hundred and twenty weights of gold or the raw ore equivalent every year.
