A Prayer for Oren

“To my fellow Orenians, today I ask that you join with me in prayer. As the date of this publication, our armies are marching upon the enemies of liberty. I ask that you pray with me, so that it may be God’s will that we succeed in our burdens for peace.

 

Oh mighty God, our sons, pride of our nation, are this day set upon a mighty endeavor. Steadfast in their duty and commitment to a freer world, and the preservation of our civilization, they march towards destiny. Today, they march to war. For this, we ask for your blessing. 

 

We ask you to guide them to victory through your providence; give strength to their arms, stoutness to their hearts, steadfastness in their faith. 

They will need Thy blessings, for their road will be long and hard and the enemy is strong. He may hurl back our forces. Success may not come with rushing speed, but we shall return again and again; and we know that by Thy grace, and by the righteousness of our cause, our sons will triumph.

With the fortitude of our souls and the love in our hearts, make us courageous against the enemies of humanity and progress. We pray that you shall make us stronger and victorious. It is through your love that we shall endure in the field of battle, until all men are free. 

 

Those who do not return, we pray that you welcome them with love and glory into your Kingdom. For those who remain, we pray that the strength you may grant us, and the guidance you provide us, allows us to persevere towards the end. And that it shall stay with us always, as we progress further to a beautiful future, where the Kingdom on Earth can resemble the Kingdom of Heaven, and another war need not be fought.

 

Oh Heavenly father, may we go with thy blessing,  

 

Thy will be done, Almighty God

 

Amen.”
