In the 18th century, women and men alike adorn themselves with jewels like no other generation in the past. Though, some of us are unaware of the meaning behind which jewels we chose to wear. All gemstones have a meaning and cultural significance behind them, and there are 178 recognizable precious stones. This is a collection of the month's stones and their significance.


Birthstones

SNOW’S MAIDEN/HOREN’S CALLING:

Aquamarine

Zodiac: MAHARA, The Siren

Element: Water

Typical Colors: green-blue

Symbolizes: Tranquility, serenity, clarity, and harmony

 

MALIN’S WELCOME/OWYN’S LIGHT:

Pearl

Zodiac: BARRAMAN, The Golem

Element: Moon

Typical Colors: White, black and grey
Symbolizes: Perfection and incorruptibility; it is a symbol of long life and fertility, and because of its luster it is often considered a moon symbol
