VOTE WILLIAM HELVETS

for a brighter tomorrow

and a Member for the People

William Linhardt Helvets has spent his entire childhood training to serve Our country.

Now, in this time of great need, William Answers.

The Haeseni agitators are no longer in Our midst. William says

NO GREAT LOSS.

The mismanagement of Our politics has led to rampant nepotism and stagnation. William says

NO LONGER.

The Diet has spent the better part of three decades passing laws to benefit Wonks and Cat-Men, and giving Our jobs to Non-Humans. William says

HUMANITY FIRST.

William’s storied background is relatively confined to the Kaedreni countryside; where he, under the tutelage of a great many refined (albeit now-retired) statesmen and scholars was taught the art of governance, though he stood to inherit nothing himself. Indeed, the young man is self-made in that respect, with no funding allocated from his family’s coffers, instead going to his recently-fired older brother, Adrian.

His policy stances are as follows;

NO to further rights for Non-Humans and Non-Elves.

YES to further centralization of government efforts.

YES to reforms benefitting the Imperial Crownlands and Kaedrin above all else.

NO to future relief efforts geared towards the expelled Haeseni.

YES to expenditures benefitting the Imperial Capital and Owynsburg.

Penned and paid for by the Owynsburg Conservatory Special Committee for the Campaign of William Helvets.

“The Haeseni agitators are no longer in our midst,” Konstantin murmured as he read the missive aloud as he stood outside Lauritz Christiansen’s old Helenan address; boxes were stacked outside the door and loaded into a horseless wagon as he and Lauritz moved the last of their old documents out the Christiansen-Wick Solicitors Helenan office. Over the distant din of chatter, Konstantin could hear a clatter inside the house as Lauritz filled the last of the boxes. Konstantin frowned as he folded up the Everardine missive, and burned it with the matchbox he usually carried for his pipe.

“No great loss indeed,” he said quietly as the grey morning produced a drizzle. “At least now this lot will have a fair shot at running their own show now that we’re gone.” The thought prompted him to mutter a silent prayer for Konrad Stafyr and Terrence May – both Haeseni, both mentors to him, and both former legislature Presidents.

Within the hour, he cursed his luck as the drizzle turned to a steady downpour and he and Lauritz – both of them former legislature Presidents and Haeseni alike – began the ride back to New Reza.

Neither of them looked back.

George Galbraith watches both of his former colleagues move out, from two houses down from his home on Silver Jubilee street. He’d light a cigar.
