Your Opinion re: The Virosi Pontificate

Beloved Faithful,

I write this short open letter to all peoples of the canonist realm to urge you to voice your opinions regarding the failings of the Virosi church. I encourage all to read the forty one theses that I had published which points out the nefarious ways in which the Virosi pontificate has pulled our church and in tow, the faithful, towards an abyss of sin. Naturally Godric refused to refute a single one of the theses mentioned including his complicity in allowing for Pontian the third’s killers to face no justice and complicity in the defilement of his corpse, probably because he is unable to refute successfully without making a fool of himself or proving every point I had made correct, like the fat pompous drug-addled Monsignor, Adrian Helvets.

I encourage all to pin your opinions here, voice your concerns regarding the Virosi Pontificate and how they have failed you and your friends. Make the Virosi pontificate finally realised how disillusioned they are and how distanced they have become from the faithful so that they may finally recognise the error of their ways and resign.

Yours humbly,

Friar Boniface

"Our opinion is that you're a sinner and you should pay for your heresy" Arthur would mutter as he reads the missive.

Boniface,

I write with a heart so heavy with sadness that one who would feign such closeness to the Lord would insult or degrade he who sits on the Immaculate Throne and does the good work of God through His ministry.

You ask for the opinions of the people, but we are not sheep who flock to circumstance of conflict. Our individual relationships with God are not beholden to our rage, our politics or our pride.

James II is like a father to me. He taught me the core of my being should be to know that I am not the adjudicator of the guilty. That it is not for me to say what anyone deserves. That when I see the iniquitous become their inevitable fate, it is but for the grace of God that it is not myself who falls.

I love my Church, my God, and my Holy Father, James II. He is a sinner, and his imperfections are innumerable, but to claim otherwise is nothing short of ignorance. But he is true to the Lord and His will, and knows not to give in to his own hubris when others would have him do their bidding. There is no man who owns my respect more greatly than him, and so it shall be till the day I die.

“I invite you, as Godric Virosi failed, to cite one thing that constitutes heresy that was written in the 41 theses.” replied Boniface.

“You will see more than one.” Warns Pius.

“Perhaps when you have written your essay filled of nonsensical ramblings and complex words a majority of the population do not understand, you can for once pay a visit to the canonist realm and preach, hold mass, hold ceremonies for Lord knows you have not stepped foot in it in over forty years.” said Boniface.

“Ah yes, of course, the truth of a doctrine is based on your ability to comprehend it now? I readily admit you have always been a better Priest than I have, but on this matter, you are wrong, and the fact that I am not as good as you does not alter it in the slightest. It is the message I write that matters; ignore the messenger if you would, I have never given any pretence to be worthy of the office that is given me, of which no man can ever be worthy,” replies Pius.
