[!] A notice had went out, updating those who attended the first in a series of meetings with the Gremlins in the underground city of Al-Hadirah.

The group of five had descended down below and into the underground city. It was falling apart, structurally unstable and at first, all was quiet. Before the slight sound of chittering sounded and the group met two of the many Gremlins, seemingly praying before a painting.

The painting depicted a turtle with a candle on its back, made from crude dyes to stain the thick leather hanging from the wall, very primitive in nature. The Gremlins were weary but were offered kindness, and so kindness was met in return. The group was brought to the chicken fights, where they were privy to watch the match, where feathers and eggs were passed about, seemingly in a betting fashion.

The chicken on the left had won and amid grumbling, the winnings were passed over. The group continued to follow the Gremlins, and upon having to pay an entry fee, they were admitted seemingly into a sermon, where a stone-slab book was shown and loud cheering sounded as slab after slab was turned as the story continued. The group had managed to befriend the Gremlins to an extent, enough for the Gremlins to allow them to watch what they do but not quite participate as of yet. When the Gremlins had left, intent on their next scheduled event of the day, some of the group went home and some stayed back, making copies of the book on the altar. And through a series of actions, the religious room now having a scorched floor and partially collapsed ceiling.

The group returned home fully soon after.
