Providence: We Have Arrived

    A message from the Office of the Archchancellor

Friends and fellow citizens, I write to you with good news. Through months of hard living and an arduous journey across the sea, I am proud to announce that finally, we have arrived. Our ships have found safe haven on the shores this brave new land, and we are ready to begin our adventure. Our trials have only begun, but I am filled with overwhelming hope and optimism for the days ahead. We can only rebuild together, though, for we are one Orenian people united in our resolve for a better life. Acknowledging the tasks ahead, the Stahl-Elendil Ministry shall continue the statue of national emergency and issue a series of new executive decrees.

Executive Decree no.5: In order to maximize efficiency and increase employment opportunities regarding resource collection, public works construction, and general labor and employment needs of the Empire, the Stahl-Elendil authorizes the creation of the Civilian Labour Corps(C.L.C) under the administration of the Home Office. 

Executive Decree no.6: In light of the ongoing state of emergency, the Stahl-Elendil Ministry finds the temporary Imperial acquisition and management of Providence raw material industries to be appropriate and just to maximize resource collection. Government stewardship shall remain in effect for a three year per annum period, at maximum. Once this decree expires or is rescinded shall said industry be returned to the private sector. 

Executive Decree no.7: In order to ensure the general welfare of our Imperial citizens, our most at risk citizens can no longer go hungry. Acknowledging this, the Stahl-Elendil Ministry orders the establishment of the Public Grain & Produce Relief Agency (P.G.P.R.A) under the Home Office. A substantial allotment of all grain & produce grown within the Empire shall be set aside for public distribution and consumption to combat poverty induced starvation. 

Through providence we have found our new home, and through this providence we shall succeed. We are strong, we are good, and we are ready. God save the Emperor and Empress, God save their Empire, God bless us all.

Ensign Leonard Halcourt shrugs as he realizes that Victor Halcourt failed to mention him and notices how Victor and his other relatives start walking around the Imperial City of Providence without him "Hey, wait for me, guys! I'm still your relative..." he would say in tears as he starts running towards his relatives in order to join them in their search for a place to stay.
