Alfie Greenholm for Sheriff, your resident Halfling lawman!

One day in the fair wee-folk village of Bramblebury, as the resident Halflings gathered in the market the respected Halfling known as Alfie Greenholm raised his tone and called for the attention of his kindred. He began to speak.

‘Greetings, my good wee-folk! I have a little announcement to make if you do not mind lending me your ears. I plan to run for Sheriff in this year's elections, to provide for Brambleburry what I once provided for Brandybrook in my last tenure as the Sheriff of the wee-folk. As unlike any of my competitors I actually have the experience this job requires! I promise law and order! I promise to provide fair justice, but justice nonetheless. And to keep up the law, and provide order to our day to day doings. And I swear to deal with any biggun problems in the form of banditry and general mischief, and to ensure that good public morals and Halfling traditions are also upheld. I swear my undying loyalty to the constitution of Brambleburry, and hope that I have earned your vote! Running with me will be my good friend Filibert Applefoot for the position of Sheriff’s deputy, a respected member of our community and a proper halfling! Thank you for your time, good day my friends!”

With that, he left. And a new sheriff candidate had entered the race!

[!] This statement would be posted to the notice board in Bramblebury.
