TO THE PIOUS MEN AND WOMEN OF FREIMARK,

 

As the Inaugurations and revelry of the initiation of Freimark has come to a close, thus have we celebrated the fruits of our efforts thus far. We have raised a County from nothing, and, with the grace of GOTT, we have raised a town out of grass. This town bestowed upon us from our Lord GOTT, however, needs administering. Like a newborn baby, it requires parenting, and like a jewel, it requires overseeing and preserving.

 

Thus, shall the Second Moot of Freimark be conducted between all the men and women of Freimark, between its leaders and its populace, to prepare the foundations of our realm’s administration, and to make sure that all our people are accommodated.
 

THE HIGH MOOT

Such, shall we begin with the first High Moot of Freimark. Between the leaders of our realm, we shall discuss the proceedings of Nation, and the following discussions shall be held by the behest of the Count:

 

Elections of Lawspeaker
Discussions shall be held regarding the following of the procedures to elect the first Lawspeaker of Freimark.

 

Appointment of the Bailiff’s Office
Preparations shall begin to expand the Office of the Bailiff, and check the progress of the office thus far. Talks of new positions shall be mentioned, and thus new opportunities for the people of Freimark

 

Recording of the Populace
Proper procedures shall begin to get a proper recording of our residents, their social and legal statuses, occupations, and all that comes with it. This effort shall be put into place so that proper accommodations and opportunities may be offered to the different residents of the realm.

 

Matters of Church
With the presence of our Chaplain and the Bishop of Freimark, the clerics of the Holy Mother Church shall be given a podium and space to discuss the ongoings of the faithfuls of Freimark, the practices of religious tradition, and all that comes with such.
 

After these matters have been discussed, any members of the High Moot may bring forth their own petitions and discussions concerning the ruling of Freimark.

THE HEARING

 

As per Freimarkish customs, the High Moot shall be followed by the Hearing, in which all the populace may present their petitions to the Count. Additionally, for this first Hearing, the present populace will be asked to give accounts to the Count directly as of their occupations and standing within the realm. Many will be distributed between the different classes of the Freimarkish society, be they Serfs, Freemen, or Burghers.

 

After the hearing, the Moot shall conduct with a prayer to Saint Tylos, and all shall be dismissed.
