The Countess of Aldersberg and her daughter Georgiana Maria enjoying the seasonal festivities, c. 1850

ANNO  DOMINI 1850

To all citizens of New Providence and the Holy Orenian Empire,

While the state of affairs in recent years has certainly been turbulent, it is ever so much more important for us to allow ourselves rest and enjoy the festivities this Tuvmas season. Events have occurred frequently, some good and some the opposite, but at the end of it all it should prove an example to us all that none of us will truly ever know what can change in a mere day.

This is why, citizens of our great Empire, we must pay mind and remember to cherish your family and friends. To pray for their good fortune even if you may not have spoken in some time. To wish for not only good health for you, but those around you as well.

This Tuvmastime, we are grateful for our family. Our son, Edward Clement and our two dear daughters, Georgiana Maria and Elisabeth Helaine respectively. We hold these three closer to our hearts than perhaps anything else, and we feel truly lucky to be able to cherish this. Lastly, we would like to wish all those reading, no matter who you are, a very merry Tuvmas.

From our family to yours, have a very merry Tuvmas

SIGNED,

HIH George Alexander, the Count of Aldersberg

HIH Juliya Rose, the Countess of Aldersberg

Edward Clement sat upstairs in his room sipping warm cider, trembling slightly as he mentally recovered from the thwarted attempt on his life.

One of those Aldersbergian daughters, Georgiana Maria, read over the missive with great joy. Despite all that she, her family, and the empire have faced in recent years, Tuvmas was upon us now, and that meant that a celebratory time of merriment and togetherness.

The Dowager-Duchess of Adria beamed with pride as her Tuvmas tradition, begun when she herself was a child, continued on with her brother's family issuing a wish of good tidings unto the people of Oren. The imperial began to ponder upon a slew of gifts she might procure for her nieces and nephew.
