BARKEEP : Organized, spry, charming, favors gossip, accountable. Pouring tricks preferred but not required. Multilingual preferred but not required. Expected to maintain social order.

 

BARD : Charismatic, loud, talkative, boastful, favors gossip, shows initiative, literate. Versed in foreign songs preferred but not required. Expected to be fluent with wind, string, and/or drum instruments. Expected to author new music. Expected to sing.

 

COOK & BREWER : Resourceful, creative with limitations, well-traveled, fast, strong tongue for spicing. Versed in baking preferred but not required. Versed in distilling liquors but not required. Expected to import foreign ingredients/drinks.

 

HOSTLER & FARRIER : Hardworking, reliable, fit, tough, good with animals, strong back. Versed with animal husbandry preferred but not required. Experience shoeing horses and mules preferred but not required. Expected to keep stalls clean at all times.

Traditionally, riders of the Cinged would often ride with a scutum shield bound to one arm with a stash of javelins tucked beneath the shield. Gaisorix tended to travel in this fashion with an additional francisca axe on his person. The roads across Savoy curved and straightened over deserts, savannahs, and canyons to help connect counties such as Niseep, Freimark, and the Daelish Isles with larger towns and cities such as San Luciano and Caer Raewyn. On one occasion, he ventured through Niseep and found a bulletin board requesting artisans. He found parchment and pen and issued his response:

 

"To the merchants of Niseep, I'm Gaisorix hal'Daelduron - of the Cinged tribe residing in the Daelish Isles. I patrol the Savoyard thoroughfares for the safety of our people. Our Cinged artisans are some of the craftiest metalworkers this side of Almaris. We primarily produce torcs, or decorated arm- and neck-bands, and jewelry of a great variety. We also produce karnyxes, or warhorns that tower over the heads of soldiers and livestock - this is a wooden craft though."
