Though often regarded as the most junior of the Offices of the Aulic Council, the Seneschal fulfills a role as fundamentally important as that of the Marshal. The lifeblood of the Royal Capital, its housing needs, its infrastructure, and its habitants, rest upon the diligent work of the Seneschal in the administration of the Crown’s chief domain.

 

Over these past years, Ser Reinhardt of House Barclay has fulfilled this crucial role with apt dedication, while simultaneously tending to his duties as a Knight of the Knights Table. In the 1st Steel Pledge held by the King within the last month, Ser Reinhardt was elected by the Knights of the Table to become Knight Paramount. In respect of this election, it is the will of the Palatine, as voice of the King, that Firr Dracomir Rorikov assume the Office of the Seneschal, in accordance with the wishes of Ser Reinhardt to devote himself fully to the Knights Table after twenty years of service upon the Aulic Council, of which he described to be an utmost pleasure.

 

The careers of many great Haensemen throughout history have begun in stewardry. It is with great eagerness we will watch Firr Dracomir follow in their footsteps.
