At the heart of the caverns within the Principality of Nor’asath, there is a need to ensure the health and wellness of the mali’ker. The official establishment of the Vallel Clinic is to promote a positive change in the medicine undertaken by the elven peoples. The clinic is available for check-ups, surgery, and any type of medical requirements; being open to all with good intentions for the use of the clinic.

Positions within the Vallel Clinic

 

Head Physician - Head Physicians are responsible for the oversight and management of the clinic. They are the ones who spearhead new projects and initiatives to ensure that the Vallel Clinic is not only a place of healing, but ensuring that the traditional ways of medicine are upkept along with the new. Those in this position are able to act in the capacity of any position should they need. The current Head Physicians are Marzoss Devione and Leilatha Devione.

 

Medic - Medics are trained in the more surgical and hands on approach to medicine. They deal mostly with physical injuries and the treatment of those. The medics of the Vallel Clinic have proven themselves competent in the treatment of others. 

 

Therapist - Therapists assist with those that need healing in a mental capacity, treating those with a wide variety of issues as health within the Vallel Clinic does not only relate to the physical.

 

Researcher - Researchers are those that wish to assist the clinic in terms of the alchemical, spiritual, as botanists, or other capacities. Researchers oftentimes will have more free-form over their areas of research, only having a small number of people in each area of study.  

 

Intern - Interns are those that are learning how to practice medicine and are studying to be members of the clinic in an official position.

The Vallel Clinic is looking for a variety of physicians to assist in the clinic. Currently, we are in need of surgeons, general physicians, biologists, pharmacists, and even a secretary. Ardreth on his way home from the Temple pauses when he sees the missive advertising the clinic. He looks at it for a long moment, copying some of it down to bring to his wife and lari'onn and is about to step away before he twists back on his heel and stares for a few moments longer. He drums his fingers on his journal a few moments before shrugging and filling out the form. "Always something new to learn, and a mundane way to offer praise if they'll have me." He says softly to himself, slipping the note to a small mechanical mockingbird before continuing on his way.

(Alternatively: What draws you to medicine?): I have always had a natural affinity for hearing out the woes of others so as to relieve their stress, and I have been doing so for the friends I have found within Nor'Asath so far. I believe it would help those in this community if I were to help through professional methods and learn to be a real therapist.
