Eryane 3698 Share Posted March 18, 2022 AMENDMENT TO THEEDICT OF REFORM, 1864 - 12th of Godfrey’s Triumph, 1864 INTRODUCTION Although designated in the initial Edict of Reform, 1854, that the Vice Chancellor shall head all meetings of the Imperial Diet as its chair, it has become clear that alternative methods of holding meetings of Our Diet are necessary. Therefore, it is best to allow a presiding officer, elected from among their peers in the Diet, to substitute for this initial requirement. THE PRESIDENT PRO TEMPORE The President Pro Tempore of the Diet shall be an elected position from among the Imperial Senators and Grandees within the Imperial Diet. They shall serve as the presiding officer of the Diet in the absence of the Vice Chancellor. The Senators and Grandees may, at any point, once per Diet vote to change their President or Crown may change the President as it sees fit.
