spicii 1131 Share Posted March 30, 2022 Spoiler [OOC NOTE: This event is inspired by Stardew Valley.] MONTH OF GODFREY'S TRIUMPH The ‘Feast of the Winter Star’ is an effervescent occasion, hosted when the weather is at its most supercilious. The aim of this festival is to promote the act of hospitality and affection towards our beloved peers in a time of numbing humidity. All are to gather in the County of Mardon where the festivities will transpire. If you are planning on participation in the act of gift swapping, this will only be available by means of a sign up sheet! The Grand Feast The feast will be decked with an array of dazzling festive based dishes handed out to all on silver platters at the hands of the staunch workers of the palace. Indulge yourself in the utterly delectable three course spread. Commencing with a selection of different dishes racing from starter, main and dessert. The servants of castle Garmont have to offer many contrasting foods, such as vegetable broth with pearl barley and rustic bread, roasted duck accompanied by jellies and custard stained with sandalwood and all different kinds of palatable flavouring and finishing with a fig, almond & honey tart - specially baked by the Princess Vivienne for the occasion. Act of Gift Giving A mere month before the festivities commence, HH Princess Vivienne Anastasie will personally write to all peers and citizens who have decided to sign up for said circumstances. Within the contents of the letter, each citizen will be given a name - picked at random - in which they will be entrusted with the task of preparing and or commissioning a gift for the individual they are paired with. They are NOT to gossip about who they have been given for the gift giving, as it breaks the purpose of trust and hospitality the feast is aiming for. After the feast has come to a finish, everyone at the table will exchange their presents.
