A New Mother - Circa 1866

Penned by Anne of Sunholdt, The Countess of Aldersberg

The Comital Household of Novellen-Aldersberg is ecstatic to announce the birth of the Count and Countess of Aldersberg’s firstborn child and Aldersbergian heir. Alexander Leopold Novellen-Aldersberg (@Balthasar) was born during the rainy midday om the 7th of Horen's Calling, 1867. Having been born extremely underweight, the newborn lord is under the watchful eye of trained staff to ensure his stability. The Countess, having labored through the prior night and morning, is to rest extensively in hopes of a swift recovery from the difficult labor.

Signed,

The Right Honorable, Edward Clement

Count of Aldersberg

The Right Honorable, Anne of Sunholdt

Countess of Aldersberg

Edward Clement reads within the palace courtyard, going completely unaware his son had been born!
