A   DECLARATION   OF   LOYALTY

I, Sir Ezekiel Moores, Commander of the Swint's Guard, hereby declare King Frederick I as my rightful liege.

The Swint's Guard has historically stood as the personal guard of the leaders of Oren, and as such, in a time of civil strife such as this, we hereby declare King Frederick I as the rightful heir to the throne.  Alongside myself, Sir Solomon Obedia, Vice-Commander of the Swint's Guard, and Little Tony Helane, another member of the Swint's Guard, collectively pledge our allegiances to the rightful King of Oren.

Henceforth, from today and forever onwards, let it be known that the Swint's Guard stands with King Frederick I.

SIGNED,

Sir Ezekiel MooresCommander of the Swint's Guard, Knight of the Order of the Lion

"Did they forget their oaths? They are sworn defenders of his Imperial Majesty the EMPEROR OF OREN! I pray they see the folly in their actions and fall on their swords to redeem what honor they can. Or they shall be hung like the traitors  they are." John Casimir rips the public letter in half.

"They have swore oaths to the late Emperor and Empress and the Crown itself and such transfer upon succession, the Holy Orenian Empire follows Male-Preference Primogeniture and the rightful successor is Emperor Peter IV. You, so honourable knights- you're nothing, but oath-breakers!" Eleanor of Provins furiously ripped the missive.
