The Princess-consort went into labour early in the forenoon on this day, the 10th of Tobias’ Bounty, in the year of our Lord, 1870. The physicians of the household have reported that the child was delivered healthy, weighing around 3,2 kilograms and standing at 50 centimetres, bearing his mother’s leaden orbs and father’s beige hair. The couple have opted to christen the boy as James Leopold after his great-grandfather James Francis, Prince of Alstion and Lord of Alba and grandfather, Leopold John, Prince of Alstion, Count of Yves and Lord of Alba.
