Do you love God, dear reader? 

 

 Does he fill you with warmth and hope? Sure of the fact that he is what saves us; from endangerment, sin, sickness? Does he allow you to rest at night knowing that he keeps a watchful eye over your children, their safety ensured until their natural time befalls them?

Do you hear the hypocrisy?

 The screams of the damned.. Good men and women dying in their lonesome, cold and still as a byproduct of war; Children sick with the incurable, crying for their mothers as they lose their footing for the last time; Famine that allows families to rot away in the slums, rotten food and dirty water; The blind robbery of the common folk in the hands of the ‘noblemen’ and politicians.

 

Where was our god then?

 

You are blind to it all.. For as long as your family is safe, these problems do not exist, right?

Despite praying to the same god, yours is always with you, but those who suffer must have missed his forbearing nature.
