A Revision of Pricing

 

After some consideration, it has become apparent that our prices at Sintel Industries require expanding upon. The following list will serve as a new guideline for all future clients to reference.

 

To reiterate;

The construction of an automaton and its various components is a fickle and time-consuming art. Sufficient skill and expertise are required at all stages of automaton crafting, from the planning of proper materials to the tedious construction of the construct. The workshop will also procure most material components themselves, which includes the sometimes dangerous task of harvesting them in the wild. These toilsome and oftentimes dangerous efforts factor into the cost of these creations. Nonetheless, a customer is guaranteed the tireless attention of Master Kraal and his apprentices.

 

Humanoid automata;

Prices will begin at a baseline cost of 1500 mina for a standard, simplistic model resembling the stature of the average adult human male. Prices will vary depending on complexity and size, as well as additional features added on at the client’s request. For example; automata ranging within the heights and shapes of a halfling or dwed will be priced approximately around  750-1000 mina, whereas one of an uruk’s size will see an increase in price up to around 2500-3000.

 

Hand & feet prosthetics;

Replacements for missing hands and feet will remain at their base price of 300 mina, though they vary depending on the recipient's size and physique. For example; a halfling may expect a cost of 200 mina, whereas an uruk’s will be priced at numbers around 350-400 due to their greater stature.

 

Arm & leg prosthetics;

Replacements for missing arms and legs will remain at their base price of 600 mina, though they vary depending on the recipient's size and physique. For example; a halfling may expect a cost of 500 mina, whereas an uruk’s will be priced at numbers around 650-700 due to their greater stature.

 

Gadgets;

The pricing of tinkered gadgets will vary wildly depending on the complexity and needed care of the specified item the client has in mind, and therefore cannot be approximated with any accuracy. Clients seeking specific items or pursuing a certain idea should arrange a visit with Master Kraal for a free quote.

 

Smoggers;

Due to the material costs, heavy duty nature and high workload demand of creating smoggers, pricing will remain at 5000-10000 mina.

 

Hiring Crafters

Now settled into its place in Celia’nor, Sintel Industries welcomes crafters of all avenues for visitation and trade. We are open to trading with or hiring one of each of the following;

 

Automata Crafters

Further Alchemists

Herbalists

Smiths

Miners of Rare Metals

A hopeful gaze followed Aurelius' eyes as he peered toward the parchment. Alas, that hope was diminished -- crushed, even -- akin to how a certain Admin's desires from a particular race. He spoke afterwards, utterly despondent;

 

"..Still five-thousand."

 

Alas, his eyes begin to bulge at the latter parts. The metaphorical gears in his head start turning. He looked at his prior creations, lips curling upwards in an eager smile.

 

"Hiring.. Crafters. Alchemists, and Smiths. I wonder if they'll take work as payment."
