Arugulean Society And Its Future

The Arugulean Enlightenment and its consequences have been a disaster for halfling kind, our beloved and noble Knox's foul impersonator has spread its taint upon the pumpkin lord's good word, placing the vile temptress Arugula within our sacred pantheon as a being of justice.

 

I, Cyris, King of the Weefolk and Knox's chosen prophet call this twisting of our good faith a tragedy and present our Shire with a means to stray from this dark path; The absolute denunciation of Arugula, this may seem extreme- though I plea for the Weefolk to think back to when all was well, what event was the catalyst to all our ails and plagues? Ever since the false Knox appeared in our late Shire of Bramblebury we have been faced with punishment after punishment- from whom? I cannot say.

 

Knox is and always shall be the protector of Halfling kind, thus I can only conclude that the persistent worship and reverence of the heretical idol of Arugula has given the abomination power far beyond what any of us could have anticipated- she is the very core to every ail our good people have faced, and perhaps with Knox's divine guidance we may escape her tentacled clutches.

 

We, the Weefolk are approaching a turning point- if we are to carry out Knox's will I, Cyris believe firmly that we shall flourish and prosper as a people, a golden age of halfling kind is sure to be upon us; which is why I humbly plea that each of us take a moment out of our days to think, and reflect on the regard we have so carelessly granted the fiend Arugula. I wish to each of you a good morning, and a grander afternoon.
