Să avem sânge în vene,

As the momentous month of Juliyafest swiftly approaches, the Grand Lady of Hanseti-Ruska seeks to honor such a holiday with a lavish event - The Lover’s Masquerade, to celebrate Horen’s wife herself, Juliya, who emanates the very essence of love, and loyalty. Furthermore, Her Excellency also intends to memorialize the former Countess-Consort, her mother-in-law Esmée Gabrielle Kortrevich, in hosting the event that she once had many years prior. The event itself bears roots based in Auvergne culture, as per the former Consort’s heritage, though Lady Viorica does intend to honor her own heritage via the inclusion of Woldskyev traditions during this very celebration.

Irregardless of any attendee’s status, this gathering is meant to formulate lifelong bonds between the peoples of Hanseti-Ruska by means of such a celebration as this, which honors the very meaning of Juliyafest itself - companionship. Any and all are welcome to attend, so long as they bear in mind the meaning of this sacred holiday.

The First Dance

Whilst the first dance ensues, guests are encouraged to find those donning similarly coloured masks. The pursuit of a romantic match is not at all necessary, so long as the bonds of friendship are facilitated throughout the entirety of this first dance. Should any attendees seek a proper match, they will be encouraged to do so as the evening progresses. As per Woldskyev tradition, group dances will ensue later in the evening, particularly The Dance of Moths.

The Dress Code

Attendees are expected to don full masks, so that the mystery of the event may be maintained. One’s attire does not need to match the colour of their mask, and the restrictions of former Moda i ve Kort publications are lifted for the evening as guests are welcome to any color regardless of status or peerage. So long as they cherish the meaning of the aforementioned color, they are indeed welcome to adorn themselves with it.

BLUE: Confidence, Adventure, and Heroism

PURPLE: The Arcane, Mystery, Curiosity, and the Arts
