It has become prominent that as the House of Halcourt settled into their new keep beyond the mountains surrounding Petra’s capital of Vallagne, it was time to call upon employment for serviteurs. 

 

EXPECTATIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

The following topics are things that all employees of the Marquis are required to follow.

 

The Marquis and Marquise- Consort

For the serviteurs, it is important to greet the Marquis and his wife upon arrival to the estate. Alongside this, the Marquise has an interest in finding a servant to accompany her every need, and perhaps form friendship. 

 

Halcourt Children

The children of the household are expected to be tended, fed, and observed within the Noufeille Valenstrata. In the case of festivities at the keep, it is important that the serviteurs pay close attention to the whereabouts of the children unless instructed otherwise by the Marquis du Clermont. 

 

Preparation of  Noufeille Valenstrata

Not only are you expected to care for the members of the household, but it is quite important to keep the estate neat and prepared for unexpected guests at any moment throughout the saint day.

BENEFITS OF EMPLOYMENT

With expectations come benefits. Here are just a few things that are offered with the hard work of being a serviteur.

 

Housing

All employees of House Halcourt are given free residence in the servants’ quarters of the estate. Here you may rest after a long eve of working and assisting the household with their needs. 

 

Nourishment 

By employment from the House Halcourt, you are given the opportunity of having free food to fill your stomachs. You need not starve any longer!

 

Community

Though you are under employment, you still are given the chance to form a community with the members of House Halcourt. The children and adults alike are open-hearted and will treat you with respect. 

 

Do keep in mind, it is an honor to serve the Marquis du Clermont and his household. If it is found that you do not conduct yourself according to the set rules and expectations, you will be dismissed and will be asked to remove yourself from the servants quarters immediately.
