“When ah first arrived 'ere en our 'ome... Ah was ah bit lost, ah young dwed tryin' te find ah 'ome. But quickleh- et was the warmt' ahnd care t'at folks loike Garedyn, Ealisaid, and Mao showed meh, t'at made Hefrumm a true home, something oi'd work to improve somewhere oi couldn't leave behind. But ovah all t'ese decades ah nevah forgotten t'at, ahnd oi'v worked as ah steward te make sure t'at folks feel t'at same warmt' when t'ey arrive, when t'ey come lookin' fer ah place te call 'ome.

 

Ah'v kept our librareh safe, ahnd been t'ere fer folks, whether te get em ah place, er te just be t'ere te listen. Ahnd now ahm Runnin' fer High Chief, as ah plan te keep t'is up. Our village needs someone who can give t'is same care to our 'ome, not onleh to our people but teu tha groups t'at make Hefrumm function, ahnd give et it's beauteh. Tha Seers, tha Rings, ahnd tha Bears.

Cause me to be rebron as a beardling evereh cycle, being raised for a year by different folks en each cycle, Cottonwoods, Blackroots, Mossborn, and by Knud our beloved snail druid. Evereh time weth a new sense of self, et es now tha as Khazaefron we 'av accepted all parts ef ourselves and given to us this name derived frem tha dwed words fer tree and dwed.

 

Bat as a' said a' wes once Karl, born en Atlas. During a time before 'efrumm. Et wes a time wher we were onleh Cottonwoods and mi uncle Bjor Cottonwood led us. During these times we suffered maneh things not least ef which wer tha raids conducted on es by Kaz'Ulrah Frostbeards and their loyalits. "Our crops burned, and our kin wer slayed. Yet we prospered undah Bjor's chiefhood, and eventualleh we called forth more clans to join es giving birth to 'efrumm. As 'efrumm we wer able to fight back aneh enemeh that dared to try to crush us fer being who we wer, and eventualleh 'efrumm wes brough into the table to bring back the fallen kingdom ef Urguan.

 

Thes es woi we 'av our autonomeh and priviledges, we gained them through sacrifice and 'ard labor. And tha es uhot a' 'av always tryed to protect, during mi past 'igh Chiefhood when a' wes Karl ef tha Blackroots a' created all our key institutions to ensure these gains wer net wasted. The folks council wher all forest dwed could lend their voice, the chiefs' council wher all the clans and tribes could put forht their plans and ideas fer our future.

 

And also the constitution ef 'efrumm etself, a piece tha came ento play during our weakest time when the Ember'orns abandoned es. Urguan could ef 'ad absorbed es en tha moment, bat thanks to Jorvin signin tha constitution a' drafted we became untouchable… Securing our village fer years to come, no mattah who wore the crown ef 'efrumm. Now es the time wher we need to aim to live, laugh, and love like Bjor always wanted es to, and to onleh raise arms when those things we care about ar once more challenged.

And 'ow do a' plan to do thes? Well certainleh net alone. Tha Folk council es a tool ef mandatoreh use ef all 'igh chiefs fer internal matters and et 'as been rightfulleh used fer decades. 'Owevah, the chiefs' council 'as been weak fer a long time. A' belive tha to restoreh activiteh en the orders we ferst need to restoreh tha clans to their

former gloreh, en particular tha Cottonwoods, Blackroots, and Mossborn.

 

To thes end a' recomend tha Tuzic Mossborn, Renlak Blackroot, and Orsola Cottonwood to be brought forth as chiefs by their clans through their clan elections. To 'av a fresh new generation ef chiefs leading the chiefs' council.

 

Once thes es done we will be able to use the skills ef each clan to work en tha ordas ef 'efrumm ensuring maximal efisienceh. Tha Mossborn 'av proven great skill en talents most forest dwed would deem more fit to cave dwed like the art ef sales, resource management, taxes, and all tha. Tha cottonwoods ar great 'unters and gatherers aswell as cooks and brewers. And the Blackroots av 'istoricalleh been the pouar 'ouse ef spiritualiteh and mentorship en culture of our village. Khazaefron:"well tha Brathmordakin and the faith are a 'uge part of our culture en 'efrumm, maybe net through the clerge bat certainleh through tha seers. The vast majoriteh ef our 'igh chiefs 'av been seers, and the seers 'av traditionalleh taught the forest folk about tha Brathmordakin and the faith. Whot will a' do ef am 'igh chief about mi role en tha clergeh? Well a' woudl reauest to become tha prophet ef Anbella. Net onleh tha a' would try to make said position one tha can serve as a link between the forest folk and the clergeh, per'aps by making et a position wher one needs to go through tha seer trials to be able to attain et.
