OOC: Taking a Break

Hello, everyone.

Due to OOC reasons, I've decided to take a break from the server. It has nothing to do with any of you. I am very busy in real life right now and the server has been hogging a lot of my attention.

I may not be coming back for a while. I need to get my grades back up for college. Things in real life have been a little tense for me, so sorry if I've lashed out at anyone. I did not mean to hurt anyone's feelings. I don't really want to go into detail, but things are sort of tough in real life and I maybe took it out on some people on the server. I feel very bad for that.

See you guys later. In RP, I'll just say Urara went on a long hunt. :) Bye now!

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate your kind words. I'm still going to try to finish the things I need to do on the server, like the map Mogroka asked me to draw. So no one needs to worry about that.

This might be a goodbye forever to Aegis. As long as Noah's banned, I won't be coming back. He spoke to me on Skype last night and said he's probably not going to try to appeal his ban. I joined this server so I could play with my boyfriend. We live several hundred miles apart in real life and, because flight is expensive, we don't get to see each other very often. We play online games together as a couple so we can feel close, even if we physically aren't. I don't want to play without him.

So we're both probably going to be looking at new servers.

I'll finish the Tale of Dom and any maps people want me to draw, but unless circumstances change, Noah and I are both severing our ties to Aegis.

It's been fun.

Noooo D: Tell Noah to make a ban appeal you guys were both such a big part of the orcish community and with you two gone that means that only me and Blawharag are kheshigs. I can certaintly hope that the rest of the orcs have the same feeling. We wan't both of you back and i'm sure Noah will be unbanned if he just tried to be unbanned by making a ban appeal.

I don't know first-hand all of the circumstances behind that ban, but it happens to the best of players from time to time. Hope he comes back around and appeals. You guys are a welcome presence in the orcish community and would surely be missed. Do what's best for the both of you, you guys are awesome.

I'm waiting for Noah to call it. I don't think he knows about the ban yet. But based on the talk we had last night, this may be it. We've both had struggles against certain people on the server and it may be best to just find somewhere else to play.

If Noah decides to appeal the ban, we'll both stay. But I don't want to play an Urara with no Gragarn. Urara needs her life mate

I think you all deserve to know why (if I was banned) I would not appeal it. I find it harder and harder to log on sometimes. I don't know if this is just me (and something I'm doing wrong) but it seems every time I login somebody is trying to start something OOC. It just really blows my mind how quickly people are willing to jump to OOC and just flat out kill any RP. I find that whenever I leave Krugmar I'm met with nothing but poor RP'rs. Heck, even look around Krugmar today and you'll see all these (non-orc) good players are just coming to Krugmar. I also find it daunting that whenever I do anything I have to double screenshot it all. I find it harder and harder to go out and do stuff because I know I have to carefully make sure everything is screenshotted. It's now part of my daily routine to go through my screenshot folder and clean it out so it stays organized. There's a point where LOTC starts to feel like work, when it's supposed to be leisure time. From my perspective every other time I login something horrible happens. I don't know if anybody else has experienced any of what I'm talking about (other than Urara).

I consider myself at least a decent RP'r, so if I manage to screw up in such a way that I find myself banned. Then I imagine I'll have done something so horrible that it wouldn't be worth appealing in the first place. That's at least my view of the situation.
