10th of Horen’s Calling

The Year of Our Lord, 1953.

A Call To Eagles, Von Augusten.

To arms, 𝕭𝖗𝖚𝖉𝖊𝖗𝖘! Our noble Queen, Her Majesty, Catherine I, of the Petra, does call us to fulfil our duty. With that call do I command you, tall and small, to arms. All abled bodies are called to the front, there we shall hold our banner besides our Petrine masters and fight, shoulder to shoulder, to end the Anathema.

They have scared our new home, they have performed foul acts within most sacred temples and they did even threaten, harm and kidnap our own. Let not their sins go without justice served!

With this call I do ask the subjects of Azor and those who do claim the Augusten name to approach me, I will supply our armours with supplies to those brave men and women of our noble Viscounty. We fight for our country! We fight for our faith! 𝕲𝖔𝖙𝖙 awaits those that die valiantly on those damned fields of the Anathema. For as the proverb goes “The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord.” Should we die, do not fret, know we shall meet in the Almighty’s embrace.

A Prayer for Our Soldiers.

Almighty Gott, You who asks us to surrender all to You in prayer, take this prayer from my lips and into Your Divine Heart;

Protect your humble servants in battle, be their constant companion and offer them Your Saving Grace should they fall.

Guide their hearts, O’ Lord, and see that their enemies fight for nought. Bless us until the final victory is won and Your Peace restored.

Amen.

Signed,

His Lordship, 𝕱𝖗𝖎𝖊𝖉𝖗𝖎𝖈𝖍 𝕳𝖆𝖓𝖘 𝖛𝖔𝖓 𝕬𝖚𝖌𝖚𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖓,

Heir to the Viscounty of Azor and Regent of House von Augusten.

Camilla smiled at the call. "Shall this war make knights of you summer boys, we haven't seen war since the Adrian rebellion. The last time we fought them we were children locked behind the walls of Hohengarten, safe from the carnage. But now you must make carnage of your own.." The Falkner told herself from her home away from the conflict.
