Then suddenly, the bombardment started” _–_–_– Finally, the fateful day had arrived! Armies marched with unmatched pride. Anticipation grew so high it made men cried, And some found peace in the brothers they confined. –_–_–_ Waiting was so torturous, so long! Soldiers burst out in jolly song. The noise created was aimless yet never wrong. The day made clear who proved weak or strong. _–_–_– The silencing order had been given, and all men held their noise no matter how driven. Time had come to drag the enemy from the keep they lived in. Every man fallen today would be a bloody addition. –_–_–_ Then suddenly - BOOM!The noise echoed around the field like a closed room, as the cannoneers sought to deliver their doom. Rock and iron cast the sun out like a threatening loom. _–_–_– “THE FIRST WALLS HAVE CRUMBLED!” The Veletzian defense had been humbled. Veteran soldiers mumbled, rumbled, and grumbled, while the youth scrambled along the walls frantic and jumbled. –_–_–_ Covenant charged full force awaiting the slaughter! A scene so glorious any artist would want to jotter. Through intense fighting, the keep was held, they got her!But GOD lost many sons and daughter… _–_–_– As the action started, it came to a sudden halt!Commander’s argue through solutions and faults. Infantry so jittery they could perform a perfect waltz. Victory was present on the horizon in this blitzing assault. –_–_–_ Green men cheered as if the day was won!But the leaders knew this battle was far from done. The Veletz counter-attack came in a rushing run. However, the united nations were not to be shunned. _–_–_– One by one the forces were repelled. One by one the Adrians were felled. The Northern King ordered his forces expelled. Glory was won and the Adrian fire had been quelled. –_–_–_ Many stories and tales would be pondered and asked of. Soldiers slain in battle replaced by the newly drafted. For now, the world celebrates and brags on that fateful day during. . .
