Journal Log 227, On The Month of Grand harvest.

(OOC: 12/9/23)

[!] The night is high and the seas are rough, a dingy sailed across the blue shores reaching the foggy , humid area of the shores of Nor'vaelyth

“TIR HIGHNESS”
Said the automaton, to a sleeping shaman, he reached out and shook her

“TIR HIGHNESS- WE HAVE ARRIVED AT TIR DESTINATION OU’ CHOOSING
He spoke in a monotone manner, no perflexion, and a vocal reflection that held no emotional expression. His ticking body echoed amongst the crickets and frogs which lurked amongst the brown lake.

“Mmm?” she groaned in a drowsy manner as she stood up, rubbing her eyes as the clouds kept the darkness in check, even from her gifted witness was she unable to see from afar, the shadows domain was within this area- however her spirit was strong, but not strong as the spirit who domains the terrain which is this marsh.

“Push through, find land for me to depart in.” Ember spoke

Even as the automaton sailed the dingy forward into the wide swamp, it seemed impossible for it to fully see. He then took out a smoke torch, and lit his northern front, and went around to light another, hanging it in the post as he lit his southern flank. It was able to fully see the trees in front of him but not afar. Hours passed, and time basically flew, yet the darkness did not fade. Then suddenly. . .

“TIR HIGHNESS, I’M DETECTING RIPPLES COMING OUR WAY IN THE WATER… ONLY ONE SET.'' The waters soon began to shake the boat, the ripples soon turned to splashing sound- as the automaton fell victim to the jaws of a throqal. The great crocodile emerged from the swampy waters and pounced the automaton. From right to left did the beast jump and ****** the metal being into the water.

“NI- RE4ALL!” (Rae-frall) she called out, merely having a bo staff, she predominantly had to depend on the harpoon left behind by the automaton. Her witness was then brought forth into action for the first time, she tried to predict the movements of the beast, using her bare feet she tried to sense where the beast could come from, using the ripples in the water that shook the light vessel. But it was in vain, as Ember could not react fast enough she too fell vicitim to the pounce, luckily it did not bite her, but merely knocked her into the waters where she submerged below, using her blessed sight, she began to see- to see again, she now used one potion to her advantage, injecting the acuity potion into her shoulder and littering the waters with the clockwork cylinder Elixir container. Her time was running out and her breath as well, the Throqal then charged forth at her for what would be the final attack.

Then from above, a musin fisherman who was casually fishing tadpoles for food was scared off by a dead throqal emerging in defeat as Ember also emerged hurt by the beast. “Lani is going to kill me if she finds out about this.” She spoke tired of the mess she made of herself, she removed seaweed and anything that had been dragged with her, soon she saw the dingy stranded in the shore not far from her. The Mutations she injected into her have also begun to work, the bite marks began to be filled with skin and muscle once more as Ember held her own arm. As she brought the dingy and everything else to the area in which the dead monster laid, with a sharp harpoon struck through its mouth piercing through his head.

“W- wh- what i- is t- that…” The musin squealed with his shuttering tiny form as Ember smiled with some expressed exhaustion. “A swamp monster… E’ think… May E’ camp here with ti, till E’ get my things prepared for further travel.?” As soon as Ember found a tree to sit under the Musin nodded and made a fire with her. The fisher musin continued as Ember took the throqal, and began to gut it, flaying it piece by piece as she began to prepare them for a sacrifice.

Ember laid forth her satchel, which she retrieved from the dingy as she gazed at the flames within the small campfire. Thus the She-shaman grabbed dirt from the land, salt and pepper and rust from copper. Then the fire soon turned blue as she set down the meat and bones of the throqal, praying to the spirits whose domain lies within the great marsh south of Nor’Vaelyth

Laklul”

Ember echoed forth her chant, around her echos of old blah resounded. Bouncing off every tree trunk and frog which croaked in the area. Seemingly as she began to tap into the spiritual- she heard cracks and footsteps. Ember opened her eyes once more to see the Musin skittering off as it possibly felt creeped out by her. She then continued- now speaking in the ancient tongue of blah.

"Fûsh urkûrz ukhugûr mokhlab, trovlab. Ember skaatuga latu- Pukhlal, fiithug hluth ilziob. Fûsh urkûrz azûr lat skûtogal, lat mauhai. Ember shagûr fulaknar frapogtuk, her bazguzg Rantobob dâgu."

"Lûp baltlab, lûp Laklul tabishi zark balt."

Then she casted the meat into the blue fire, and Soon after- as the prayer was heard, light broke through the darkness, the marsh filled with glow berries and frogs began to glimmer within the shadows, Throqals and alligators returned back to their habitats and a clear path to the gray hill was shown to Ember. The trek was not far, the climb was nor high either. And as she rose, she saw it

The Ashes fell to her hand, as she saw Luara in her glorious light

She made it to Nor’vaelyth- there after she found its gates opened, as she entered she imidietly went to the tavern for a drink of sweet berry juice. There she went to the local Inn and stayed there for the night.

Journal Entry 223, Recorded: 12th of Sun’s smile, year 158 of SA.

It has been ages since I traveled, and I will say it has been ages. For my travels, I decided to traverse the well least difficult and closes place to our soon to be built city. Nor’vaelyth. This city, to at least the Shamans of the Iron Horde, has Lost their way- its shamans are well not seen as shamans by those outside of Nor’Vaelyth. However I like to think otherwise, I am always the optimistic one, never wish to believe something someone says without seeing the body first, or in this instance the Ker’. It was hard for me to get enough sleep, the waters were rough today, but then again we are sailing the shores between mainland Amathine and Nor’vaelyth. The fog doesn’t help our destination and let alone our mapping. However for sleeping in a dingy it was not hard for me to be overtaken by the constant rocking, and the comfort of my own blanket and pillow.

I had chosen to have an automaton escort me all the way to its swampy shores, seemingly as Nor’vaelyth doesn’t technically have a shoreline like Amathine or Vortice. Things like this always make it extremely difficult to traverse the oceans with a set destination. In such a case we ended up in the marshes, suggesting we were south of Nort’vaelyth. For the first time, I had seen a marsh, but never in my long life span had I seen something so dark and unbearably invisible. Nothing but darkness all around, it almost felt as if we were- in a joking manner, inside some titans butt ready to be blasted by whatever the water around us was mixed with that caused it to go brown and green.

It was not soon after that my automaton took action and lit the place around us, having only two flick torches, he lit his south and north, allowing him to see… and see he did, were it not for his weary warning, I would not have known we were being preyed upon. Sadly the assigned Sailor unit was trashed by the beast, a Throqal the tavern keep calls it. What ever it was it made me shriek in fear- it was fast and big almost as if it had wings. It took down the automaton in an instant only leaving its cogs floating in the water. It took me some time, a lot of struggling and luck to end the beast. A Crocodile the size is something out of fantasy books. I ended up sacrificing it, and asking Laklul for safe passage. Luckily I think he heard my prayers and saw my sacrifice. I had then a clear path to Nor’vaelyth.

Upon scaling the gray hill, ash began to fall on me, gray leaves withered with time also began to fall on me, almost as if someone corrupted them. Whatever happened to this land it was not shamans who did it. Madoc should look into the land here, or  Gusiam. The Sakura trees' pink has been washed away and made them white as a Haelunorian. However the shrooms and amethyst began to show the black slate and stone walls of the main city. I was happy that my trek had ended for the time being and I was in Nor’vaelyth. There I quickly purchased an inn for two nights- and bathed in clean water. As I write this log I start to think and ponder the strength within the beast, and how there were many waiting for me in the shadows. The spirit who ruled the domain truly had control of the situation there, those beasts were his doing and the fact I took one down, truly made a difference, if I did not, I would have died.

In life we struggle to find strength in dark times, maybe the beast was a test, a test of strength within unsurity, blinded by darkness. To use what I feel not as I know, The light was there, I was just blinded by the darkness of my own doubts and fears. As a spiritualist I should fear only the spirits, not the beast. It was them who carried me out of that cell when I was captured, it was them who delivered me and my family from King Frederick the fool of Oren, and it was them who guided us to our home. We must learn to have faith in them- I am to believe that if I had not- things would have been different and I would not be capable of telling this story later on. We must respect their homes, if we are to expect safety from them in their own homes, just like others expect safety from me when they enter my home as well.

Invitation to spiritual hearing.

[!] A missive was posted in Helious, and Nor'vaelyth, and sent to other cities across Aevos

TO THOSE OF NOR’VAELYTH, TO THOSE OF SOL’HELIOUS, TO SHAMAN KIND.

I send this missive to inform those of my great journey, through the shaman cities or shaman habited cities. My path has been set, and I invite those to come hear me- hear me speak of SOLARIS, or in more common name Aztran. For it is his will that drives me to commit this pilgrimage. I EMBER AN’NA MAH’NEL gaze upon all of you as equals, speakers of the spirits, or people blessed by them. It is my duty to spread the knowledge of AZTRAN so that he may grow in strength, so that those who dare flee from his light may bare witness to it through me. So that my wisdom can be shared, as it should be.

Be not afraid, this is an invitation- if you wish not to come, do not fear for your life, be blessed, be happy- for the spirits do not chase after no one, nor should I, one day you will come to them.

In two sun days (Tuesday) I come forth around the fifth our of the day (5PM EST) to speak about the Sun above us, the father of stars and galaxies, and the brother of the nightly beauty, the goddess of night and the spirit of the Moon Luara. . .

AZTRAN

Spoiler

OOC: Tuesday at 5pm est, in the Maehr temple in Nor'vaelyth (Nor'asath)

OOC note: I am truthfully unsure if I have given thanks for any of the previous shaman schizo posting, but I will do it here. Recently I have struggled trying to put Old blah together in coherent sentences or cryptic there of. I like to thank (Nick) and @Jihnyny and @Sewer_Rat and those who also helped (that I cannot remember) for all the Old blah translations done for my post, I will soon be fluent in old blah.
