RLNGO 287 Popular Post Share Posted January 3 THE HOHKMAT HEISTERS After days of meticulous planning, the leader of clan Vukh, Gundanat, came to several members of klans Vuhk and Vinteki with the daring plan to seize a Golem Altar from the heart of Hohkmat. Unlike some others in the Horde and Veletz, he viewed the seizure of industry and artifacts more important than kidnappings and .After a late night casing of Hohkmas roads, Gundanat believed in the ability of his horde and klanmates to smash into their workshop and take the prized magical artifact. Six descendants rallied together and planned the seizure of the prized Petran forge. The orcish mob rode off from the capital after meticulous preparation to seize the artifact. The Olog Gorom’Vuhk would lift the altar over his head and escape once they reached the inner gates of Hohkmat, while Kezmur and the others would provide a distraction. They first climbed the far wall of Hohkmat, scaling onto the rooftops as Petrans watched from below. Leaping from house to house, they bypassed the first gate and skimmed down into the town square. To their great dismay, thirty Hohkmat residents looked at the Orcs, stunned. Drawing their swords and staffs, they assumed the greenskins were preparing for a fight. Yet, they all sprinted past the crowd, running straight to the golem altar. The Olog quickly grabbed the Altar, the rest began to cover him and cause a distraction to the growing mob below. On instinct, Kezmur kicked open the window and began screaming at the residents of the city, drawing attention away from the heist crew. Gundanat and Gorom dragged the altar from the second story out the window and the others barricaded the ground floor door. The group lept out the window while Kezmur escaped into the backstreets of Hohkmat. A caravan of horses awaited them in the outskirts, and somehow, the heist had succeeded. Despite the extremely unlucky timing and the huge number of defenders and bystanders, the orcs performed the smash and grab successfully and peacefully. The orcs mounted the altar back with the Horde and displayed the new trophy. A successful day for the Orcish klan and klan leaders and the Horde overall. Although the successful act is another mark of Orcish excellence and domination, it is important to note that this heist, and subsequent raid, originates from Petran insistence on Orcish genocide and removal. The coalition gives long winded blabber about the Veletzians and the necessity of their removal, but lacks any misguided justifications for invading the Orcish flats and deserts. Petra and her allies should leave this pointless conflict and let peace be restored between our two great nations. Otherwise this behavior will continue for months until the inevitable flaming out of the coalitions will to fight.
