FOREWORD & INTRODUCTION 

 

As with two previous events hosted a tradition has started, the House of Halcourt has seen it fit to organise another jousting tournament. Located at the tourney grounds of the Barony of Artois all Knights and Dames of the realms are encouraged to compete in this chivalric game, deciding who will win the grand prize of 100 mina and the title  ‘Champion of Montresor’.

An unknowing banished and excommunicated Vylandris Vuln'ibar peers at the knightly invitations, "Why am I not invited?" He ponders for a moment, believing that George was one of the very few who knew his truer nature. The elf then comes to the realisation that the former student may very well be trying to distance himself from the mentor, an unfortunate predicament but understandable for a knight.

 

Though, the question remained. Why now? The disgraced former knight would now begin to proceed with his public interactions with a slinking caution, fearing that the extent of his affiliations may have been revealed to members of the select public by his former pupil in order to fulfil what he believed was his knightly duty...
