"satinkira! What are the Frostguard?"

 

The Frostguard are a sect of Northern warriors (of any gender), who work, for now, in lieu with the Fjarriagua. They are a group based around an almost religious devotion to the northern lands, and they seek to blanket the world in the winter in which they reside - to bring about an Eternal Winter. That is the primary focus of the group. Beyond this key detail, not much is set in stone. You may interpret this as a bad thing, but I disagree; this is a relatively new group, and people who join at this early stage will have the opportunity to define the direction which this group takes, to define how this group aims at achieving its goal - whether that be through peaceful means, through the worship of Wyrvurn, or through war. As well as this, I am currently working on a Jøkul/Ísriddari lorepost, a FA + CA which will tie in perfectly to the roleplay of this group. Anyone who joins will have the opportunity to aid in the writing of this lorepiece and to potentially be one of the original grandfathers, should it be accepted  - because that’s what would make sense. But I'd urge you to join this group because you think you'll enjoy the roleplay, not because of trying to secure a free magick.

they are different. the white walkers are an undead group essentially focused on destroying the realms of man - the frostguard are a LIVING group focused on spreading WINTER and defending what already exists of the north, not an undead curse; an eternal winter does not necassarily mean that all of mankind will get eaten/frozen to death/whatever (some may choose to roleplay the two as contingent upon each other, that's fine - debate over the topic is encouraged)

if your persona is female then you may transition from the frostguard to the fwitches at some point, but if you're male then no - magic (yw unwillingly) isnt the point of it
