Desired Result of Report

I know that moderation team can not influence things in a discord, though I wish that I could continue my rp in the knight order as a squire or page, a simple warning would suffice or the applicable punishment for this, and made clear to the User there should be 0 OOC motives brought to IRP.

Hey everyone!

 

I'm gonna come on here and give my perspective and reasoning for removing CanadaMatt from the heartlands knight order.

 

One thing he did not include in his report was the final dms we exchanged! Here is the conversation in full once again, along with the last messages we exchanged about an hour ago.

In my messages, I believe I stayed civil and respectful. I did not bad mouth CanadaMatt, nor did I call him names. I was very nervous and anxious messaging him, as I'm usually not a confrontational person. At a certain point I stopped responding because I was stressed out about the whole situation and did not want to deal with it anymore. In the last messages, he asked for the "players" who had problems with him. I opted to ignore that message, as I'm not going to give out information like that to players.

 

I had hoped it would settle down, but unfortunately CanadaMatt got moderation involved.

 

Here is my conversation with Halt about the situation

As far as I know, moderation informed him that there was nothing they could do about the situation. As you can see, Halt clarified that it was my prerogative to remove players from an ooc community.

 

As for my reasoning behind removing CanadaMatt from the knights, there were several factors. My friends have had horrible interactions with him, along a few members of the knight order that I will keep anonymous. One of my knights had an interaction on a persona of CanadaMatt's where he removed their atronach leg and beat them up with it. He then proceeded to tease them oocly about the rp. I will not the sharing the logs on the forums, but I am happy to hand them over to moderation if they would like to see them. Here are some discord messages from the player while the roleplay was happening.

This interaction happened back in December, during the war. The player this happened to did not report it because they did not want to bring it up again and deal with OOC harrassment.

 

Your behavior since I informed you of your removal from the order has only shown me that I do not want you as a knight. Here is some screenshots of chats in the Merryweather discord, where you said some very mean things about a player who had nothing to do with this situation. You also mention this player in your document, but I truly see no connection between him and my decision.

For some reason, the forums aren't letting me post the screenshot where you call the knight order "******* snowflake children", but I'm more than happy to send those to moderation as well.

 

I have to clarify that I hold no ill will towards you. I had hoped this situation could be resolved without a player report. I take creating a safe and comfortable community for players very seriously. When my players told me they had reservations about you being a squire, I took it very seriously. And your behavior throughout today has proved to me that you were not a good fit for my knight order.

 

I hope you continue your roleplay elsewhere, as again I don't hate you or anything. I simply need to take the needs of my community seriously as a leader. If a player comes to me with a concern, it's my job as the knight commander to listen to them and fix the problem. Again, I hope you do success in roleplay on your character.

Thank you sharing this!  Totally forgot to add the last part of our convo while debating on posting this or not, I did indeed on a persona called uthred ap essworth beat a character with his atronach leg, did not intend to tease him which I'm sorry I didn't realize this, MANY things iv said after this altercation of removal was said out of anger and annoyance of this situation which in the words I used I do apologize to those refrenced.
