Deep within dunwen's land the wee home of a hobbit Smulders in soot and ash. The long gone echoes of agony linger in the walls createing a foreboding and uncomfortable atmosphere in a place that was once was welcoming. the sign above the door charred, the writing of a name only barely visible. one could make out the name 'timothy' if they looked long enough.

Inside the air was stuffy and cold, disturbed ash floating around the air, signs of a struggle visible as a green coloured shovel and Aurum dagger lay on the burnt carpet, yet the halfling who once live inside was nowhere to be found. the only clue being a trail out the door indicating someone had been dragged out into the street.

The living doll that Tim had ordered to accompanied Tomes and Aserath became more panicked over time, unable to settle as it remained restless.

something wasn't right.

Walter would arrive in Dunwen to pay a visit to his friend Timothy, but he would be met with a horrifying sight of his friend's house in shambles. He would walk in with a sword drawn, only to see the said shovel and dagger. "What in the...who could have done this-"

As Walter could not find Timothy after searching the entire house, he would notice the trail after heading out. "Who would even target the one and only Timothy..?" He said, beginning his search for his friend.

The now-vagrant magus Tomes noticed a panicked rustle from within his large backpack, where Izsick, the living doll, had been carefully placed, the head of the creature popping out of it in a panicked frenzy. The man looked at it, his brows furrowed shadowing his exhausted and empty eyes as he took a glance at Aserath after. In a somber, almost lifeless tone, the man uttered in the midst of their travels.

"...If Timothy is injured in anyway, it is yet another reason to my stance."

The maddened wizard scowled in frustration, giving one last thought of all the recent events happening around him, before heading on horseback to Dunwen, home to Timothy.

As the Magi made his way to Dunwen, wishing but to share a drink and a conversation with his friend, he couldnt shake an odd feeling, perhaps it was a sent in the air, or perhaps just a bad day. Upon reaching Dunwen, Aserath had already shaken the feeling off, however.. upon reaching his friends house, one of the cases of his Clan's Ale he was bringing, to share with Timothy, simply fell from his grasp. Not a word left his mouth in that moment. One moment became two and then more, before a mere sigh followed by a few words broke the silence "May Riognach have mercy on whoever did this.... because I wont." His orange eyes, already much like the pits of hell burned ever so fierced, the magically imbued tattoos on his face would pulsate, as he himself made his way back to his horse, riding out to find what the hell happened to his friend.
