A prestigious organization dedicated to the exploration and extraction of

precious minerals, gemstones and more. The guild values hard work, skill,

and dedicated workers, upholding traditions passed down through generations.
 

The Guild is hierarchical, with each rank representing a higher level of skill, experience

and responsibility. The rankings are as follows:

 

The entry-level rank in the guild, Stonepickers are new recruits tasked with basic tasks such as

clearing debris, sorting valuable ores from rubble, and assisting more experienced miners.

This role provides foundational knowledge of mining practices and safety procedures.

 

Oreforgers are responsible for extracting and processing ores. They possess a deeper

understanding of mining techniques and are skilled in operating various mining tools.

Oreforgers begin to take on specialized tasks such as smelting and refining raw materials.

 

Experienced and highly skilled, Veinmasters oversee the identification and extraction

of mineral veins. They plan and direct mining operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.

Veinmasters often mentor junior members and are considered experts in geological surveying.

 

Deepdelvers are veteran miners who venture into the most challenging and dangerous

depths of the mines. They are entrusted with high-stakes missions to uncover rare and

valuable resources. This rank signifies exceptional bravery, experience, and knowledge of

the subterranean world.

 

The highest rank within the mining guild, the Guildmaster is the leader and overseer of

all guild activities. Responsible for planning, resource management, and representing

the guild in external affairs.

 

Craftsmanship is the cornerstone of the guild, we take pride in creating and maintaining

high-quality tools necessary for the mining endeavors. This section outlines the key tools

and their creation processes

 

Essential for deep cave explorations, these ropes are crafted to be incredibly strong and

durable. Made from woven strands and reinforced with metal fibers.

 

Vital for illuminating the dark depths of the mines, these lanterns are designed to be

long-lasting and reliable. They are constructed with tempered glass, steel and an infused

glowing-element.

 

Fundamental tools of excavation, these are made to be both effective and resilient. 

A stonepicker will undergo their initiation by forging their first axe with etched runes, as well

as a shock-absorbing handle that can withstand the repeated strikes.

 

Mapping and measuring underground spaces is vital, precision instruments will be made

from steel, crystals and various metals. Intricate mechanisms and calibrated with precision, 

these tools will allow the diver to find deposits, measure subterranean features accurately.

 

The guild engages in a variety of tasks and missions, crucial to its success and the welfare

of its members. These include:

 

The guild will locate new veins of minerals and gems, teams of prospectors venture into uncharted

territories, map underground tunnels and report back on potential mining sites.

 

Extracting valuable resource is a tremendous task, therefore, the Prospecting guild will handle it.

Organized mining efforts to efficiently and safely extract minerals and gems, ensuring minimal

environmental impact and reward.

 

Creation of detailed maps of mining areas and underground networks, skilled cartographers and

surveyors document tunnel systems, ensuring safe navigation and efficient extraction.

 

Safety and Rescue, Trade and Commerce, Training and Education, and more.

 

Any, and all, Khazad Brathmordakin-following-beardlings-and-above may join the

prospector's guild. Should it be of interest, you may find a deep-delver or Falstad

Grandaxe in the city of Urguan or by sending a letter and express your interest in joining.

A sequence will kick in and you might be brought onto a mission for your training, should it

prove do-able, and be taught of religious figures like Grimdugan and the very basics of 

excavation and exploration.
