An Announcement from House Fuentes

[!] This missive is publicly available in Hyspia!

 

The House is saddened to announce the sudden and complete disappearance of its Patriarch, Ser Jose Fuentes ‘The Patriot’, the Margrave of Coracoa. After breaking off the trail during a procession to Hyspia to pay respects to his childhood friend, the following enactments have been approved by the family.

 

1. Pedro Fuentes will take all material possessions owned by the family for accounting purposes
2. Andre Fuentes will once more be included in the final family portrait, if it is ever finished.
3. Juan Fuentes will act as guide to the newly legitimized son of Jose Fuentes, Antonio Flavio Fuentes.
4. Jose Angel Fuentes, in absentia, will abdicate his titles to Antonio Flavio Fuentes so that they may be safeguarded in case he ever returns.
5. A search party will be sent out every three years for Jose on the path to Balian in the hopes he may wander home.

Hey guys. It's been a while since I've played this character and thought I should give him a proper burial as I no longer enjoy playing him as I once did. Big thank you to Wavey, Mady, Hogo, Salvius, and KKGame for making this character enjoyable to play. A big thank you to so many more who gave him proper character development throughout his life. I apologize for the short and concise post, but it was better than creating a RP scenario for a dramatic end. See y'all around.

Asbjorn Carthaig gathers small pieces of wood, before outlying it rocks, bleached white. He throws a match onto the pyre, and crosses his legs as he sits down to watch the fire light up the night around him. He thinks of his time in Hyspia, fighting against Veletz, being knighted in court, and bringing the farfolk together. Most of all, he remembers his friend, and mentee Jose. It was he who he escaped his deep depression with, and who taught him there is always something around the corner. It was in the streets of Whitespire, were they raised up as heroes! They battled side by side, for the best time in Asbjorn's life since Cartref Mor.

 

But Jose is no longer.

 

The fire dies down now, gray ash laying in between bleached, white rocks. The forest's floor casted in an almost blue light from the full moon. He stands now, and disconnects from the void as the white rocks fade away back to the void, leaving a soft gray atop the blue. His face carries not a frown-yet a smile. He begins his venture towards Numendil, preparing himself to look around the next corner.

The child Monarch, Xiomara I, signed the Lorraine at the news. She'd never met the man, and could only hope he may be found safe and sound. The young girl prayed, knelt within the Church of Blessed Francisco, for a safe and expedient return of Ser Jose Fuentes.
